Relaxing With Mindful Harp Music

By Richard Howard

It was once said that if music be the food of love, play on. Whether reading Shakespeare or not, mindful harp music allows one the chance to unwind whilst listening to the awesomeness of this amazing instrument. It is not easy relaxing whilst one is busy doing the endless chores that make up any given day so with this in mind, time out must be planned in order to do just this.

There is a way to do just this and here we go into how to go about finding the quiet time needed from a hectic busy schedule that seems to be the norm today. Most people get caught up in a busy schedule and just do not find the time to sit quietly and just be. Music such as this allows one the time to do just this and apart from this, it is great to use as background music in the workplace.

By giving oneself half an hour of the day to focus on oneself, it is a time that can be used to bring the body back into a state of rest. To do this one must make sure there is not distractions and this means cellular phones turned off and ensuring that one will not be disturbed at all. It is best to lay down on one's back and get as comfortable as possible whilst doing this exercise.

Whilst breathing slowly and deeply one allows oneself the chance of monitoring what is going on with the rest of the body. It is best to do this throughout the meditation session and work on inhaling deeply into the stomach and then exhaling slowly. Try not to force this but merely do this for about five minutes.

One will be amazed at the millions of thought processes that are going on. From flashing images and other thoughts, try to picture a letter of the alphabet with a backdrop of white light. This helps slow the mind down whilst trying to keep this image in the mind's eye. One must not be concerned if one cannot maintain the image for a long period of time when it is replaced by other thoughts but must calmly bring it back into focus when one can.

It is best to allow the mind to wander and then try picturing something and keeping it in the mind's eye. This may seem difficult to do at first as the picture may be replaced by another image or thought. It is advisable to keep trying to return to the picture that one is imagining but not to fight for it to stay there.

It is never too late to start. Playing this type of music helps do just that. Taking time out is essential to healthy living.

It is quite easily accomplished. Doing this is empowering. It leaves one in a stress free state ready to tackle anything that the day has to offer.
