By Shawna Fletcher

Some people just love taking pictures of almost anything, especially pictures of special events and occasions in their lives. And since social networking is in trend today, most of us would love collecting pictures and posting them on these social networking sites to share these pictures to everyone. Some people even make it a hobby. There is nothing more artistic that a creation of a nice looking picture. Many people have shown interest in taking pictures and have experienced different camera technology. They can learn new ways of taking pictures. There are many camera clubs and association of photographers like Boston Architectural Photography.

This group is formed by photographers who agreed to make a website and display their pieces on this site.

History shows that even in early times during the years of Euclid and Aristotle photography was already known by men. Through the years many advances in the process and materials photography had been developed.

There are different styles of taking pictures that added a life to pictures these are black and white, color, and full spectrum, ultraviolet and infrared and lastly digital.

The modes of productions are amateur, commercial, art, science and forensic. An amateur photographer is the one who practices photography as a hobby and not for profit. On the other hand commercial photographers are paid for the images they have taken rather than works of arts.

Many other sciences rely on it for the compilation of pertinent data and evidences and preserving those, just like in engineering and forensic. Pictures are taken to gather information needed to carry on with the process of engineering works and in forensics to solve the crimes. Many discussions about it had been talked about and points of views were raised especially in the field of arts. Some artist claimed that it is mechanically capturing of images and that would not qualify as art.

This sort of art makes use of camera and other mechanisms like xerography, photogram and image scanners. And through the years modernization has brought changes and it has gone a long way since then. Although it is just capturing images, the Boston Architectural Photography had proven that it is an art work by combining architecture with it.
