If the player does this there are vibrations that will be produced and they in turn will produce the lovely sound heard by the audience. Proper way to hold a violin should be one of the first lessons taught to a new violin student because overlooking this part can have its consequences.

Poor bow hold is the reason behind the failure of very many players. This is not usually an easy task for many new players. As a pro player is doing this, people may think that it is the easiest thing to do. The truth is it is not as simple as it seems. This task needs someone to do a lot of practice in order to fully understand what ought to do. Some of the important things about violin playing have been mentioned below.

The first thing to do is usually to make sure that the bow is not too tight. The fiddlestick is the thinnest part of this set. This part should however be thin enough so that it is able to scrape through a middle finger. The next thing to do is to place the index finger on one side of the bow and the end of your finger on the other side.

This is the reason why they are able to vary their sounds to form tunes. Their fingers also need to be placed correctly if they want their sound to be of perfect quality.

In order to acquire better sound that is much smoother, one needs to hold their instrument in the correct manner. Correct holding also improves the techniques and skills of the player. New players must therefore make sure they learn about this to make their performance better.
