Classic songs are familiar to most people. If they hear a few bars of a song, they are often able to say the name of the song and the artist that is performing it. There is a reason that a song becomes popular and well known. It is because the artist has managed to put everything together in a format that people want to listen to. Songs that reach the tops of the charts are often considered the best that there are. If you want to create something that people consider to be the best, you need to understand some of the basics. When it comes to making and using the best instrumental and hip hop beats, there are a few tricks that you should be aware of.

Keep it tight. While there are beats that comprise loads of exciting and unique sounds, it's advisable to keep your beat tight. Common elements such as snares will make a beat sound great. However, don't get overexcited and add more sounds than is necessary to your beats. You might end up creating confusion within the beat. Focus on using minimal sounds in your beat with the aim of creating a tight cohesion between the different elements. The same also applies for instrumentals.

Fill it up - If there are gaps in your music, it will cause people to stop listening. Once you lose an individual, it is hard to get them back. Make sure you use the right beats and instrumentals to fill your music. They can be used to stretch some of the chorus or verse or they can be used to make transitions between the different parts of the music that much smoother and better.

Edit Your Music - The internet offers you a wide variety of instrumentals and hip hop beats. You can easily find anything that you want if you choose to buy them online. That does not mean that you need to add all of the beats and instrumentals that you buy in a song. There is a time when less is better and there are times when you need to add a little more. Take your time to make sure that you have the right amount of beats and instrumentals in your music without adding too much.

In the end the key to making the best instrumentals and hip hop beats is practice. Take the time to find sounds you like and techniques that help you get there with your music. It is something that will pay off in the long run.
