I'm Really Glad I Had My Nikon D5100 Camera With Me When I Visited The Spanish Village of Maro

By Penny Harbuckle

Maro is a scenic village, slightly towards the East of the City of Nerja near the well known Nerja Caverns. Nerja retains an exceptionally Spanish feel to it notwithstanding becoming a renowned vacation location. The modernizing of the coast road as well as the ever-increasing availability of inexpensive flight tickets to Malaga makes it a fantastic choice for European guests.

Nerja gives you several miles of shoreline (blank) which are predominantly sand. One of the finest being Burriana Beach where the restaurants cook large pans of paella outside the promenade eating places. Apartments have how spread over the hillside just above this beach, however virtually nothing could take away the natural beauty of this miracle. Nerja is quite a busy location and if you are seeking out a calmer position there are several nearby spots to swim and sunbath further along the coast.

A number of these are informal naturist beaches where you can get that even all over tan. For illustration, Playa de La Caleta (or La Caleta beach) is a modestly sized and captivating sandy beach destination nestling beneath the cliffs and fertile plains associated with the Spanish community of Maro located on the Costa Del Sol. I have taken pleasure in a couple of quiet times here with my children and there have invariably been several other naturists.

The 2km approach to the shore is simple to follow, even so the last section is a little steep and as a result good care needs to be taken. To start from the Balcon de Maro, stroll down the edge of the ruined fort to join the modest route at the end, turn right and after a brief distance take a lane on the right. The lane passes through agricultural acreage. Turn right in between two greenhouses directly into a different road and follow it up to a chain where a lot of folks park. The route down the track goes right down to the beach.

This in conjunction with other strolls are explained in the book The Sierra of Nerja and The Cliffs of Maro you can find at Nerja Visitor Information Office. Although I have not really visited them myself, I'm sure that further East, beyond the big Maro shore, Playa de las Alberquillas (Alberquillas beach) and Calas del Pino (Pine Coves) are frequented by nudists.

Nikon boasts 3 simply marvelous cameras to choose from that I thought about obtaining for my recent visit to Spain, the Nikon D7000, Nikon D5100 and Nikon D3100. Following some time spent checking out a D5100 review, I finally decided on the Nikon D5100.Any brilliant Southern European sunshine, glare from the sea, faces in shadow all present the photographer with obstacles. We are pleased to be able to tell you that the Nikon D5100 really measured equal to the assignment so I'm certainly really pleased with my investment. I was specifically amazed with the built in flash.
